Meryl Wang is a senior IP lawyer with 11 years’ experience.
She has comprehensive expertise in the areas of trademark, unfair competition, copyright and design patent, etc. Before joining Lusheng, she worked for local IP firms and an international firm Bird & Bird. She has advised and represented many international clients on all manners of copyright, patent, trademark, and unfair competition disputes, such as handling a few of trademark and patent litigations for a French man hole cover company, representing an international company in fashion industry in trademark infringement and unfair competition with well-known trademark claim, etc. In addition, she is also experienced at managing the client’s IP portfolios and providing comprehensive IPR strategies for different clients.
She joined Lusheng in 2014 and took the role of leading trademark administrative litigation team. In the past four years, she and her team, at high win rate, have handled over 300 trademark administrative litigations, including a number of high profile cases before the Supreme Court, many difficult cases in relation to trademark well-known status, prior right claim and cross-class protection.
